Music Box, mixed media, 6" x 6" x 6", 2004

A music box comprised of plexi-glass, cut strips of sheet music and music box mechanisms in which some of the notes have been filed away, sits on a pedestal. The viewer is able to interact with the piece by turning one or more of the music boxes. Questions of containment and nostalgia are at play.
